CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Jan 22, 2019 (BSS) – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)
arrested a suspected militant from Shibnarayanpur village under Shibganj
upazila in Chapainawabganj district in the early hours of today.
The arrested was identified as Monirul Islam, 35,of the aforesaid area.
RAB said, acting on secret information they raided the area and arrested
Monirul.
Sensing the presence of RAB the other militants fled away.
Commanding officer of RAB-5 Lieutenant Colonnel Mahbub Alam said,
Monirul was detained for interrogation.
