Gazipur AL leader Momin Uddin passes away
GAZIPUR, Jan 21, 2019 (BSS) – Veteran freedom fighter and an advisor of Gazipur district unit of Awami League (AL) Momin Uddin died of a cardiac arrest today.
He was 70.
Momin Uddin is survived by wife, a son, a daughter and a host of relatives and admirers.
He will be buried at his family graveyard after Asr prayers at Sreepur in Gazipur tomorrow after his two namaz-e-janaza at Rajbari ground and Bhatipara village respectively in the district.
In separate condolence messages, Gazipur District AL President and Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque, State Minister for Youth and Sports Md Jahid Ahsan, Mohammad Iqbal Hossain Sabuj, MP, and other political leaders expressed profound shock at the death of Momin.
They also prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
