DHAKA, Jan 21, 2019 (BSS) – Acting Chairman of Jatiya Party GM Quader today described health condition of HM Ershad as fine, hoping he (Ershad) will soon get recovery.
While talking to journalists at the party chairman’s Banani office, he (GM Quader) said, Ershad, Jatiya Party (JP) Chairman and Opposition Leader in the Parliament, is undergoing treatment in a hospital in Singapore and he will return home after his medical checkup, a press release said.
Secretary General Mashiur Rahman Ranga, presidium members Azam Khan, Rezaul Islam Bhuiyan and senior leaders of the party, among others, were present on the occasion. Ershad yesterday (Sunday) left here for Singapore for regular medical checkup.
Ershad along with his younger brother Hossain Morshed, his wife Roksana Khan Moreshed, and JP presidium member Major (retd) Khaled Akhter left the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport by a flight of Singapore Airlines.
