MK Tiger Cup Golf Tournament concludes in Rangpur
RANGPUR, Jan 20, 2019 (BSS) – The seventh three-day “MK Tiger Cup Golf
Tournament-2019” concluded through a colourful prize distribution ceremony
held at Model Conference room of Rangpur Golf and Country Club (RGCC)
Saturday night.
The MK Traders, a business institution that supplies medical and
surgical goods to the northern Bangladesh, sponsored the tournament.
More than 100 contestants of different Golf Clubs in the male, female,
junior and sub-junior groups participated in the tournament held on the RGCC
ground, a press release said today.
Rangpur Area Commander and General Officer Commanding of 66 Infantry
Division Major General Md Masud Razzaque attended the concluding ceremony as
the chief guest.
In the Male Group, golfer Major Muhit secured the first position while
golfer Major General Md Masud Razzaque won the best gross award.
Golfer Colonel Nurul Huda became the runner up while golfer Enamul Haque
Sohel got the second best gross award.
Golfer Brigadier General Shams Alauddin Ahmed won the second runner up
award while golfer Lieutenant Colonel Yusuf won the maximum pat award.
Golfer Major Saif secured the minimum pat award while golfer Colonel
Fuad won award for making the longest drive and golfer Major Ashraf won the
nearest to pin award.
In Female Group, golfer Mrs Nasrine Haque Boby became the winner while
golfer Mrs Mohsina Sadaine won the best gross award.
Saba secured the first position while Nisa became the runner up in
Junior Group.
Wafi secured the first position while Wadi became the runner up in the
Sub-junior Group.
Major General Masud Razzaque, also President of Rangpur Golf and Country
Club, distributed awards among the winner golfers in the concluding function.
Proprietor of MK Traders and Vice-president of Rangpur Chamber of
Commerce and Industry Manjur Ahmed Azad, RGCC officials, military officials
and invited guests attended the function.
