Driver killed in Lalmonirhat road accident
LALMONIRHAT, Jan 19, 2019 (BSS) – The driver of a microbus was killed and
one other injured as a truck collided head on with the microbus in Hatibandha
Upazila of the district today.
The deceased was identified as Shofiqul Islam, 21, a resident in Nilphamari
district.
Police said the accident took place morning in Barokhatar area on
Lalmonirhat-Burimari Road. Shofiqul died on the way to hospital. Police
seized the truck.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Hatibandha Thana Proshun Kanti Das confirmed the
incident.
