MYMENSINGH, Jan 18, 2019 (BSS) – State Minister for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid today sought cooperation of all including journalists to run his duty properly and fairly.
“Journalists are the torch bearers of a society. Your positive role would help us towards building a developed and prosperous Bangladesh,” he told a reception accorded to him by Muktagacha Press Club here this morning.
With Muktagacha Press Club President FM Salam in the chair, UNO Shubarna Sarker, former mayor Abdul Hye Akandha, AL leader Advocate Badar Uddin Ahmed, secretary of the club Sherajul Haque, founder president AZM Imam Uddin Mukta, vice-president Shams Uddin Ahmed and other members were present.
Later, the minister opened Muktijuddah School in Paratongi area and exchanged views with freedom fighters.
