Momen seeks Indonesian support for solving Rohingya crisis
DHAKA, Jan 17, 2019 (BSS) – Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen today sought support of Indonesia for early solution of Rohingya crisis.
He made the plea when his Indonesian counterpart Retno Lp Marsudi congratulated him over phone on Wednesday, a foreign office press release said here today.
The Indonesian foreign minister expressed conviction that the friendly relations between Bangladesh and Indonesia will be augmented further based-on mutual understanding and respect in the years ahead.
Marsudi visited Bangladesh in 2016 and 2017 for discussing the Rohingya issue with Bangladesh authorities.
