Saifuzzaman urges govt officials to work with sincerity
DHAKA, Jan 17, 2019 (BSS) – Land Minister Saifuzzaman Chowdhury today
urged the government officials to remain cordial, skillful, honest and
sincere while working for people of the country.
“Works should be speeded up. Ensuring public services is the only work of
the Land Ministry,” he said in his presidential speech at the 119th meeting
of the Central Land Allocation Committee at the conference room of the
ministry here.
Saifuzzaman said arbitrarily use of land will be stopped and utmost use of
land will be ensured.
Land should be acquired in such way so that capital, district and upazila
level offices can be kept on the same compound through vertical extension, he
added.
In the meeting, land were acquired for Narsingdi Palli Bidyut Samity-1,
Gazipur Shaheed Tazuddin Ahmad Medical College and Hospital, regional campus
of the National University in Chattogram and ongoing projects of Rajshahi
Development Authority.
Land Secretary Md Maksudur Rahman Patwary, Additional Secretary Md Siraj
Uddin Ahmed, Additional Secretary of Agriculture Ministry Habibur Rahman,
deputy commissioners (DCs) of Dhaka and Chattogram districts attended the
meeting among others.
