RANGPUR, Jan 13, 2019 (BSS) – Deputy Speaker of Jatiya Sangshad Advocate Md Fazle Rabbi Miah, MP, today said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has turned Bangladesh into a country of enduring peace and prosperity.

“For this, the people of Bangladesh have repeatedly elected Sheikh Hasina, the mother of the humanity, as Prime Minister,” he said at a post-election meeting with party leaders and workers and common people at Fulchhari upazila town in Gaibandha today.

The deputy speaker termed the grassroots leaders and activists of Awami League (AL) as not only his workers, but also workers of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Awami League activists.

“The result of your (local, leaders, workers and activists) actions will reach me as well as Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. You have to work honestly for the next five years so that none could raise any question on your leadership,” he said.

He said politics must not be done by grabbing the rights of the poor people. If it happens so, every responsible person has to be accountable before the Almighty Allah too.

“I cannot forget my debt to the people of my parliamentary constituency comprising of Shaghata and Fulchhari upazilas in Gaibandha. As long as I live, I will be serving the people of these two upazilas,” he said.
