Hungarian, Belarus premiers greet Sheikh Hasina

DHAKA, Jan 13, 2019 – (BSS) – Hungarian and Belarusian Prime Ministers Victor Orban and Sergei Rumas respectively have congratulated Sheikh Hasina on her re-election as the Prime Minister of Bangladesh.

In a congratulatory letter, Hungarian Prime Minister Victor Orban assured of his commitment to continue to work in development of the economical, commercial and educational cooperation between the two countries, a foreign ministry press release said here today.

The Hungarian premier also mentioned his country’s focus on the region of Southern Asia as a part of their Southern Opening policy and recalling the visit of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to Hungary in 2016.

In another congratulatory letter, Belarusian Prime Minister Sergei Rumas expressed his conviction that Sheikh Hasina’s work in this position will contribute to the development of the economy of the country, strengthening of the international cooperation and to ensuring the well-being of the people.

The Belarusian Premier also reiterated their readiness to widen collaboration with Bangladesh.
