Over 50 illegal establishments evicted from roads and highways land
CHATTAOGRAM, Jan, 11, 2019 (BSS)- Chattogram district administration in a drive today evicted over 50 illegal establishments, including shops and dwelling houses, from the land of the Roads and Highways Department at Hathazari upazila of the district.
The unauthorized illegal slums established on the land of the roads and highways that gradually turned into shops in Farhadabad area under Hathazari upazila of the district were evicted.
Ruhul Amin, Upazila Nirbahi officer of Hathazari upazila along with police members conducted the drive and evicted 50 semi-pucca shops and houses from Farhadabad area.
