DU Jagannath Hall sports held
DHAKA, Jan 11, 2019 (BSS) – The annual sports competition of Dhaka
University’s Jagannath Hall was held today at the central playground of the
university.
Ripon Das, student of the Department of Management and Noyon Chandra Dab
Nath, student of the Department of Pali and Buddhist Studies became champion
and runner-up respectively in the annual sports competition of Jagannath
Hall.
Dhaka University Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) Prof Dr Muhammad
Samad inaugurated the competition in the morning as the chief guest.
In another session competition Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman
distributed prizes among the winners as the chief guest. Provost of Jagannath
Hall Prof Dr Asim Sarkar, Advisor and Director of Physical Education Centre
Prof Dr M Ziaul Hoque Mamun, President of DU Athletics Committee Prof Dr Md
Nizamul Hoque Bhuiyan, house tutors, students of the hall and officials were
also present.
