Renault alliance ‘not in danger’: Nissan CEO tells AFP
TOKYO, Jan 7, 2019 (BSS/AFP) – Nissan’s alliance with France’s Renault is
not in danger “at all”, the Japanese automaker’s CEO told AFP on Monday,
despite tensions exposed by the arrest of the partnership’s chief Carlos
Ghosn.
Hiroto Saikawa declined to comment directly on the ongoing case against his
former mentor, who was detained on November 19 for alleged financial
misconduct and will appear in court on Tuesday.
