DHAKA, Jan 5, 2019 (BSS) – The USA’s Houston-Downtown University’s
Professor Dr Anisul M Islam at a seminar today said globalization has
positive impact on domestic economy and world output is consistent with
Bangladesh’s export impact.
Dhaka School of Economics (DScE) organized the seminar on “Macroeconomic
performance and Export sector of Bangladesh” at its campus, said a press
release.
Dr Qazi Kholiquzzaman Ahmad, who attended the seminar as chief guest,
said macro-economy is gradually strengthening in the country.
Session chair Professor Dr Muhammad Mahboob Ali said if value of Taka
declines adversely, import will be costlier and export will be less
competitive due to limited resources.
