DHAKA, Jan 1, 2019 (BSS) – Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani today extended heartiest congratulations to Bangladesh Premier and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina on her party’s absolute victory in the 11th parliamentary elections.
“The Qatari Emir sent a message congratulating Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on securing her party’s absolute majority in the national elections held on Sunday,” PM’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim told BSS.
In the message, he said, the Qatari Emir wished success of the prime minister as well as continued peace, progress and prosperity of Bangladesh.
