DHAKA, Dec 31, 2018 (BSS) – Nepalese Prime Minister Khadga Prasad Sharma
Oli today phoned Bangladesh Premier and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina
and congratulated her on her party’s landslide victory in the 11th
parliamentary elections.
“The Nepalese premier phoned Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina this evening and
congratulated her, the Awami League and the people of Bangladesh on securing
her party’s absolute majority in the national elections held on Sunday,” PM’s
Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim told BSS.
During the telephonic conversation, he said, the two premiers reaffirmed
that the two countries will work together for further bolstering bilateral
relations and cooperation.
