DU VC congratulates Hasina on AL’s landslide victory
DHAKA, Dec 31, 2018 (BSS) – Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor (VC)
Professor Dr Akhtaruzzaman today extended his heartfelt congratulations to
Awami League President Sheikh Hasina on securing her party’s absolute
majority in the 11th parliamentary election.
“I thank and congratulate the people of the country for electing
Bangladesh Awami League, a party which upholds the spirit of liberation war
and the ideology of the Father of The Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur
Rahman,” said Prof Akhtaruzzaman.
He also hoped that under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina, the existing
democratic, non-communal and humanitarian values will be flourished and
ongoing development works of the country will be accelerated, said a DU press
release.
