DHAKA, Jan 07, 2018 (BSS) – Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader yesterday asked the leaders of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), the student wing of Awami League, to take necessary preparations for holding the next council in March this year.
He made the suggestion while addressing a rally marking the BCL’s 70th founding anniversary at Aparajeyo Bangla on the Dhaka University campus with its President Saifur Rahman Sohag in the chair.
BCL General Secretary SM Zakir Hossain conducted the programme.
“Take preparations to hold the council after calling a meeting of the executive committee…The next council will be held in March,” Quader, also minister for road transport and bridges, told the BCL leaders.
