AL candidate Kujendra Lal Tripura wins in Khagrachhari
KHAGRACHHARI, Dec 31, 2018 (BSS) – Awami League (AL) candidate Kujendra Lal Tripura today elected unofficially by a huge margin from Khagrachhari 298 no. parliamentary constituency in the 11th parliamentary elections.
Returning Officer Md Shahidul Islam announced the unofficial results of all 187 polling centers of the district on Sunday night.
He said Kujendra Lal Tripura bagged 236,386 votes with “boat” symbol while his nearest rival independent candidate UPDF Nutan Kumar Chakma secured 59,257 votes with “lion” symbol.
