Asaduzzaman Noor elected from Nilphamari-2
DHAKA, Dec 30, 2018 (BSS) – Awami League (AL) candidate Asaduzzaman Noor has been elected unofficially by a huge margin from Nilphamari-2 constituency in the 11th parliamentary elections held today.
Election Commission (EC) Secretary Helal Uddin Ahmed announced the unofficial results of all 126 polling centers of the constituency this evening.
He said Asaduzzaman Noor bagged 178,030 votes with “boat” symbol while his nearest rival of Jatiya Oikyafront candidate Moniruzzaman Montu secured 80,283 votes with “sheaf of Paddy” symbol.
