Dumki upazila AL president Altaf Hossain dies
DHAKA, DEC 28, 2018 (BSS) – Freedom Fighter Altaf Hossain Talukder, president of Dumki upazila unit of Awami League, today died of kidney and diabetes diseases at his Dumki residence under Patuakhali district.
He was 72.
A family source said Atlaf breathed his last this noon after a protracted illness.
He left behind his wife, two sons, one daughter, a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed her deep shock and sorrow at the death of Altaf Hossain.
In a condolence message, the primer prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed sympathy to his bereaved family members.
In a separate message, AL research and information secretary Advocate Afzal Hossain also expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of the AL leader.
