DHAKA, Jan 4, 2018 (BSS) – Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna divisions and the region of Srimangal.
The cold wave may continue and spread over adjacent areas, said a Met office release here today.
Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, the release also said. Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the country during mid-night till morning.
Night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Country’s highest temperature was recorded on Wednesday by 26.2 degree Celsius jointly at Bhola and Hatiya and lowest temperature today was recorded by 6.5 degree celsius at Chuadanga.
The sun sets at 5.25 pm today and rises at 6.42 am tomorrow in the capital.
