One killed in Sylhet road accident
SYLHET, Jan 3, 2018 (BSS) – A man was killed and four others were injured
as a CNG-run auto rickshaw collided head-on with a truck in Nageswar area
under Beanibazar upazila of the district this morning.
The deceased was identified as Mujibur Rahman Shakil, 28, son of Kutu Miah,
a resident of Sahabajpur-Sidhorpur under Barlekha upqazila in Moulvibazar
district.
Officer-in-Charge of Beanibazar police station Sahajalal Munsi said the
accident occurred on the Sylhet-Beanibazar road when the two vehicles
collided head-on at about 9.30 am, leaving auto rickshaw passenger Shakil
dead on the spot and four others injured.
The injured were sent to Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital.
