Kuwait military officials meet Army Chief
DHAKA, Jan 2, 2018 (BSS) – A high official delegation of Kuwait Armed
Forces today paid a courtesy call on Bangladesh Chief of Army Staff General
Abu Belal Muhammad Shafiul Huq at Army Headquarters in city’s Cantonment
area.
The delegation led by Chief of general staff of Kuwait Armed Forces
Lieutenant General Mohammad Khaled Al Khander met the Army Chief where
Principal Staff Officers of the Army Headquarters were present, said an
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release.
During the visit, they exchanged greetings and discussed the bilateral
relations including training exchanges and prospects of cooperation between
the two countries.
Earlier, the Kuwait Armed Forces Chief was given Guard of Honor at
Senakunja by a smartly turned-out army contingent and planted a sapling
there, the release added.
The delegation members also included Kuwait Armed Forces Military
Education Department Chief Maj Gen Anwar Jassem Al Mazidi, Kuwait Naval
Forces Commander Maj Gen Khaled Ahmed Abdullah and Mubarak al-Abdullah Joint
Command and Staff College Commandant Maj Gen Abdullah Abdus Samad Dashti.
The visiting team would leave the country on January 5.
