RAJSHAHI, Dec 13, 2018 (BSS)-Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (RAKUB) has
recovered loans of Taka 260 crore, including Taka 27 crore classified loans,
through its recovery and distribution related Victory Fair-2018.
The state-owned specialized bank organized the fair on the premises of all
its 381 branches in 16 districts under Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions on
Tuesday.
RAKUB Chairman Nazrul Islam and Managing Director Kazi Alamgir visited some
of the branches to see for themselves the fair activities.
Expressing satisfaction over the fair activities, Kazi Alamgir said the
bank has attained an ever highest profit of Taka 40.38 crore during the 2017-
18 financial year, up by Taka 27 crore than that of the previous fiscal.
He said the fair was arranged with a view to boosting relations between the
bankers and client farmers.
