BEIJING, April 12, 2017 (BSS/AFP) – China’s President Xi Jinping called for a “peaceful” resolution to tensions over North Korea in a phone call with Donald Trump, Chinese media said Wednesday as concerns grow over the reclusive state’s nuclear ambitions.
Xi told the US president that China “advocates resolving the issue through peaceful means,” according to Chinese state broadcaster CCTV.
