Rubel, Pikul elected president, secretary of Faridpur press club
FARIDPUR, DEC 30, 2017 (BSS) – Imtiaz Hasan Rubel and Mahbubul Islam Pikul
were elected president and secretary respectively of Faridpur press club
executive committee for the next two years.
Senior journalist and election commissioner Mizanur Rahaman Manik announced
the results after the bi-annual election held on Faridpur press club premises
yesterday.
The panel led by Rubel -Pikul – Monir won all 18 posts of press club
executive committee. The election in three posts out of eighteen was held on
Friday while fifteen won unopposed earlier.
A total of 91 voters out of 96 cast their vote in the election to select
their future leaders.
