DHAKA, Dec 1, 2018 (BSS) – Ministers today expressed deep shock at the death of valiant freedom fighter Bir Protik Taramon Bibi.
In separate condolence messages, Awami League General Secretary and Minister for Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader, Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque, Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor and Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister AKM Shajahan Kamal recalled the outstanding contribution of Taramon Bibi to the country’s Liberation War in 1971.
They also prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
Taramon Bibi breathed her last at her Kachripara residence of Char Rajibpur upazila of Kurigram district in the early hours of today at the age of 62.
