DHAKA, Nov 29, 2018 (BSS) – Workers Party of Bangladesh President Rashed Khan Menon today said BNP’s main intention is not taking part in the forthcoming election but to foil the polls.

“BNP is looking for issues to foil the polls. So, the people of the country should remain alert against their conspiracies,” he said, speaking at a discussion at an auditorium of the Institution of Diploma Engineers (IDEB), Bangladesh in city’s Kakrail.

Bangabandhu Diploma Engineers Parishad (BDEP) organized the discussion on the country’s development issues with BDEP President Engineer Md Khabir Hossain in the chair.

Food Minister Advocate Kamrul Islam, former home minister Dr Mohiuddin Khan Alamgir, AL leader Shahe Alam Murad and IDE’B President Engineer MKMA Hamid addressed the discussion as special guests.

Menon, also the social welfare minister, said BNP and Jamaat are now one organization. “We should resist the war criminals in the 11th parliamentary election,” he added.
