Central Zone dismissed at 220 as Ebadat takes 6-wicket in BCL

DHAKA, Nov 28, 2018 (BSS)- A six-wicket haul by Ebadat Hossain saw Walton
Central Zone suffer a batting collapse in their first innings as they scored
220 for all against BCB North Zone on the opening day of second round of
four-day Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL) on Wednesday at Shaheed Chandu
Stadium in Bogra.

Put to bat first by BCB North Zone, Central Zone suffered early batting
jolt and eventually folded their first innings at 220 with Abdul Majid top
scoring with 76 runs.

Ebadat, the wrecker in-chief, caused the major damage for Central Zone as
he grabbed 6 Central Zone’s wickets conceding 51.

In reply, North Zone started their first innings in the afternoon and
scored 72 for 1 at stumps trailing by 142 runs after the first day’s play.

At Shaheed Kamruzzaman Stadium in Rajshahi, Islami Bank East Zone enjoyed
a solid start to their first innings against Prime Bank South Zone, thanks to
Shamsur Rahman’s brilliant century.

He scored 153 run to power Islami Bank East Zone to post 314 for 4 at
stumps. Abdur Razzak claimed 3 wickets for 111.
