2 die in separate accidents in the city
DHAKA, Dec 29, 2017 (BSS) – Two persons, a rickshaw-puller and a construction labour, died in two separate accidents at Dhanmondi and Sutrapur area in the city today.
The deceased were identified as Abul Kalam, 55,a Rickshaw-puller and Anwar Hossain,25, a construction worker.
Police and local people said rickshaw-puller Abul Kalam was seriously injured while a private car hit him behind at Modhubazar area of Dhanmondi at around 7.30 am.
Local people sent him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) at around 9 am where the duty doctor declared him dead.
Besides, construction worker Anwar Hossen died after falling from an under construction building at 8.15 am at Sutrapur area.
