DB arrests drug paddler with 50,000 yaba
DHAKA, Dec 29, 2017 (BSS) – Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan
Police (DMP) last night arrested a drug paddler from capital’s Jatrabari area
and recovered 50,000 yaba tablets from his possession.
According to the police, the arrestee Dobir Khan collects yaba from
bordering area in Cox’s Bazar and sell those here in the capital.
“Being tipped off, a team of DB (east) raided Janapad intersection area
in Jatrabari at around 11 pm and arrested Dobir Khan. They found the yaba
stashed in 250 zip bag hidden in a shopping bag,” a DMP release said.
A case was filed in this regard with Jatrabari Police Station.
