ACC to submit charge-sheets against Khoka’s son, daughter
DHAKA, Nov 25, 2018 (BSS) – The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) is going
to submit charge-sheets against former Dhaka City Corporation mayor Sadeque
Hossain Khoka’s son Israk Hossain and daughter Sarika Sadeque, in separate
cases filed in 2010 on charge of not submitting wealth statement.
The commission today gave final approval of submitting charge-sheets
against them, said an official release.
Deputy director of the commission Md Jahangir Hossain, also investigation
officer of both the cases, will submit two separate charge-sheets before a
Dhaka court soon under section 26 (2) of Anti-Corruption Commission Act,
2004.
The ACC filed a case against Israk Hossain while another against Sarika
Sadeque on August 30 and August 29 in 2010 respectively with Ramna Model
Police Station.
