DHAKA, Nov 21, 2018 (BSS) – President M Abdul Hamid today hosted a Milad mahfil at the Darbar Hall of Bangabhaban after Zohr prayers on the occasion of Holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi, the anniversary of the emergence of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SM).
Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain, Deputy Speaker Fazle Rabbi Miah, Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith, State Minister for Finance MA Mannan, Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda, Convenor of Jatiya OikyaFront Dr Kamal Hossain, diplomats of different Muslim countries, Members of the Parliament, political leaders, secretaries of different ministries and high civil and military officials also attended the Milad.
Pesh Imam of Bangabhaban Jame Mosque Maulana Saiful Kabir conducted munajat after the milad mahfil seeking divine blessings for peace and prosperity of the country, welfare of the people and greater unity of the Muslim Ummah across the world.
