Traffic restriction on Armed Forces Day tomorrow
DHAKA, Nov 20, 2018 (BSS) – Vehicle movements in Dhaka cantonment have been
restricted for tomorrow due to a number of programmes marking the Armed
Forces Day.
The restriction will be effective from 7:00am to 10:30am and from 12:00pm
to 8:30pm to keep the roads free from traffic congestion, according to a
press release of Inter Services Public Relation (ISPR).
On this day, all the vehicles, excepting the vehicles carrying the invited
guests and also those living in the cantonment, have been asked to avoid the
cantonment area from 7am to 10.30 am and 12pm to 8.30pm to keep the roads
inside cantonment free from traffic jam.
The Armed Forces Division has expressed its regret for temporary
inconvenience of traffic movement inside the cantonment area.
The invited armed forces officials have been requested to remain present
at the reception at Senakunja by 3pm and the invited guests by 3.15pm.
