DHAKA, Dec 28, 2017 (BSS) – Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has donated Taka 10 lakh for the treatment of ailing Chief Reporter of the Daily Bhorer Kagoj Syed Aktaruzzaman Siddiqui Lovelu.
On behalf of the premier, her Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim today handed over a cheque for the amount to Lovelu at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) here this afternoon.
Lovelu, who has been suffering from liver cancer, returned home recently from India after receiving treatment there.
“Lovelu will again go to India for treatment soon,” a senior journalist close to him said.
