Holding PSC exams depend on education policy’s implementation: Mostafizur

DHAKA, Nov 18, 2018 (BSS) – Primary and Mass Education Minister Md Mostafizur Rahman today said the government will take decision on holding Primary School Certificate (PSC) examinations upon implementation of the national education policy-2010.

“As per the education policy, primary education will be extended up to class eight….. So, decision on holding PSC examination upon implementation of the education policy,” he told journalists while visiting JSC examination centre at the Viqarunnisa Noon School and College here, an official release said today.

The minister said the authorities concerned have taken adequate security measures with taking maximum privacy to check question paper leakage. Special initiatives also have been taken to send question papers at 204 examination centres for smooth distribution in remote areas, he added.

PSC and Ebtedayee Examinations began today (Sunday) across the country with the participation of 30,95,123 examinees.

As many as 27,77,270 examinees are appearing for PSC examinations while 3,17,853 students are participating in Ebtedayee examinations this year, the press release added.
