4 killed in Bogra road accident
BOGRA, Dec 27, 2017 (BSS) – At least four persons were killed including a
pedestrian and 12 others injured in a road accident on Dhaka-Rangpur Highway
at Mokamtola in Shibganj upazila of the district early this morning.
The pedestrian was identified as Jabbar Ali son of Bhola Akhand, resident
of Harirampur village in Shibganj Upazila of the district, rest of the
deceased could not be known immediately.
The accident occurred in the area when a Kurigram-bound bus from Dhaka
crashed into a roadside tree around 6am, leaving four persons including three
passengers and pedestrian dead on the spot and 12 others injured, said
officer-in-charge (OC) of Shibganj Highway police Abul Basher.
The injured were admitted to the Bogra Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College
and different local hospitals, the OC said.
