SKS Cup Golf Tournament concludes in Rangpur
RANGPUR, Nov 17, 2018 (BSS) – The second three-day “SKS Cup Golf Tournament-2018” concluded through a prize distribution ceremony held at Model Conference room in Cantonment here on Friday night.
Sena Kallyan Sangstha (SKS) sponsored the tournament participated by 100 contestants of different Golf Clubs in the male, female, junior and sub-junior groups on Rangpur Golf and Country Club (RGCC) ground, a press release said today.
Rangpur Area Commander and General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 66 Infantry Division Major General Md Masud Razzaque attended the concluding ceremony as the chief guest.
In the Male Group, golfer Major Muhit secured the first position while golfer Major General Md Masud Razzaque won the best gross award.
Golfer Major Ashraf became the runner up while golfer Lieutenant Colonel Shamim won the second best gross award. Golfer Brigadier General Md Amin Akbar became the second runner up while golfer Brigadier General Shams Alauddin Ahmed won the maximum par award.
Golfer Major Matiul secured the minimum pat award while golfer Lieutenant Colonel Anwar won award for making the longest drive. Golfer Lieutenant Colonel Yusuf won the nearest to pin award while golfer Lieutenant Colonel Mubarak won the conventional-on award in the tournament.
In Female Group, golfer Nasrine Haque Boby became the winner while golfer Subah won the best gross award. Ridin secured the first position while Nisa became the runner up in Junior Group.
Saba secured the first position while Wadi became the runner up in the Sub-junior Group. Major General Masud Razzaque, who is also President of Rangpur Golf and Country Club, distributed awards among the winners in the concluding ceremony.
Director General and Head of the Real Estate Division of SKS Group Brigadier General Mamun Mahmud Feroz Chowdhury and other officials of the group, military officials and participating golfers attended the function.
