DU to retake ‘Gha’ unit intake test tomorrow
DHAKA, Nov 15, 2018 (BSS) – The Dhaka University (DU) authorities will
retake the “Gha” unit entrance exam tomorrow.
Only the 18,463 students who obtained pass marks in the test held on
October 12 can seat for the exam, said a DU press release.
On the day, hour-long entrance test will be held at 19 exam centres on DU
campus from 3:00 pm to 4:00pm.

admission.eis.du.ac.bd On October 23, the decision of retaking the test was
taken at an emergency meeting of Dean’s committee held at the vice-
chancellor’s (VC) office with DU VC Prof Akhtaruzzaman in the chair following
students’ protest.
The DU authorities published the results of “Gha” unit entry test on
October 16 where around 26.21 percent admission seekers obtained pass marks.
A total of 70,440 candidates took part in the exam against 1,615 seats.
Mobile courts will act as invigilators during the admission test.
Moreover, all types of electric devices were banned at the examinations
centres.
