ARREST-RECOVERY-C’PAINAWABGANJ
Two held with firearms in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Nov 14, 2018 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion
(RAB) arrested two persons with a pistol, a magazine, two rounds of bullet
and 506 bottles of Phensidyl from Dhobpukur area here today.
The arrested persons were identified as Md Sirajul Mollick, 40, and Md
Monir Hossain, 36.
RAB said acting on a tip off, an operation team of RAB-5 from
Chapainawabganj camp tried to detain a truck, but defying RAB’s signal the
truck tried to flee away and dashed against a roadside tree.
RAB members chased the fleeing persons and arrested them with the firearms
and Phensidyl.
A case was filed in this connection.
