DHAKA, Nov 14, 2018 (BSS) – Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) today said the attack on policemen and setting fire to their vehicles by BNP activists in front of BNP office at city’s Nayapaltan ahead of the national election is an ominous sign.
In a statement, JSD President Hasanul Haq Inu and General Secretary Shirin Akhter condemned and protested the incident and urged the nation to remain alert against all conspiracies to foil the elections.
They said the BNP men carried out the attack on members of the police all on a sudden without any provocation, set ablaze their vehicles and vandalized private transports.
