SAVAR, Dec 26, 2017 (BSS) – A training workshop on Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) operation and maintenance was held on Jahangirnagar University (JU) campus here today.
Environmental Sciences Department of the university organised the workshop at the seminar room of the Water Treatment Plant run by the department.
JU Vice-Chancellor Prof Farzana Islam inaugurated the workshop at about 11 am.
Chaired by chairman of the department Prof Amir Hossain Bhuyan and professor of Islamic University Abdus Satter, among others, spoke on the occasion.
Environmental scientist and project manager of Water Treatment Plant Prof Khabir Uddin delivered keynote speech at the inaugural session of the workshop.
Around 50 students of the department took part at the workshop.
