RANGPUR, Nov 09, 2018 (BSS) – President of JASOD and Information Minister
Hasanul Haq Inu has said the parliamentary election will be held as per the
prevailing constitutional process.

“Despite ensuring level playing field for the election, a vested quarter
is hatching conspiracy from behind the screen. There is no need for searching
11 angels in the name of neutral government. That opportunity will not be
given to them,” Inu said.

The minister was addressing an election rally of JASOD arranged in favour
of its probable candidate from the 14-party alliance for Rangpur-2 seat
Kumaresh Roy on Shahpur ground in Badarganj upazila town on Thursday evening
as the chief guest.

Inu said the vested quarter is hatching conspiracy to bring a ‘ghost
government’ aiming at destroying the constitutional process in the country.

Pointing at Oikyafront leaders, Inu suggested them to stop their
bargaining on release of Begum Khaleda Zia, Tarique Rahman and razakars in
the name of dialogue leaving main agenda of development.

“If you (Oikyafront) want development, you remain beside Sheikh Hasina.
There is no alternative to Sheikh Hasina for continuation of the overall
development process in the country,” Inu said.

Inu said Sheikh Hasina has established the rule of law after winning
elections in 2008 and conducted trial of killers of Father of the Nation
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by removing culture of indemnity from the
country.

He called upon people to remain alert and elect the pro-liberation
government led by Sheikh Hasina for continuation of peace and development.

He sought vote of the common people for probable candidate from the 14-
party alliance and JASOD leader Kumaresh Roy from Rangpur-2 seat.

Presided over by local JASOD leader Abdur Rahman, Kumaresh Roy, advisor of
JASOD Central Committee Dr Ekramul Hossain Swapan, its joint general
secretaries Shakhawat Hossain Ranga, Naymul Ahsan Jewell and Obaidur Rahman
Chunnu, general secretary of Badarganj Upazila JASOD Anwarul Haque, its local
leader Abdur Razzaque, among others, addressed the rally.
