Scholarships distributed among needy students in Manikganj
MANIKGANJ, Dec 23, 2017 (BSS) – Manikganj Samiti distributed
scholarships among the underprivileged but meritorious students of the
district yesterday.
Each of 96 underprivileged but meritorious students of 24 secondary
schools of the district received Taka 1,500 as scholarships.
Professor Mahfuza Khanam, president, Manikganj Samiti presided over the
function.
Professor Dilara Hafiz, secretary of the Samiti, Advocate Golam
Mohiuddin, chairman, Mnikganj Zila Parishad and president, Manikganj district
Awami League, Mafizul Islam Khan Kamal Freedom Fighter, engineer Tobarok
Hossain Ludu, editor and publisher of “DailyGonochetona” among others spoke
on the occasion.
