Speaker off to London
DHAKA, Nov 6, 2018 (BSS) – Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin
Chaudhury left here tonight for London to join the Women MPs of the World
Conference.
Senior Secretary of the Parliament Secretariat Dr Md Abdur Rob Howlader and other
senior officials saw her off at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, a
handout said.
The Speaker will return home on November 10 next.
The UK Parliament is going to hold the first ever Women MPs of the World
Conference in the historic chamber of the House of Commons on Thursday
(November 8).
