HONG KONG, Nov 6, 2018 (BSS/AFP) – Hong Kong stocks opened with slight

their attention to the US midterm elections, which are seen as a referendum
on Donald Trump’s presidency.

The Hang Seng Index added 0.16 percent, or 41.40 points, to 25,975.79.

The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index lost 0.18 percent, or 4.71 points,
to 2,660.72, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on
China’s second exchange, fell 0.37 percent, 4.96 points, to 1,346.04.
