PM greets U-15 football team for clinching SAFF championship
DHAKA, Nov 3, 2018 (BSS) – Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today extended her heartiest congratulation to Bangladesh U-15 national football team for clinching the SAFF U-15 Championship by defeating Pakistan in the final in Nepal.
The Bangladesh U-15 football team clinched title beating Pakistan by 3-2 goals in penalty shoot out in the keenly contested final at All Nepal Football Association complex in Kathmandu today.
In a congratulatory message, the prime minister greeted the players, coach and officials of the team as well as the officials of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) for becoming unbeaten champions in the tournament.
“The whole nation is proud of seeing the team spirit of our players and their tremendous performance in the championship,” she said.
Sheikh Hasina expressed the hope that the winning spree of the Bangladesh football team would continue in future.
