Children (amendment) Act 2018 passed in Jatiya Sangsad to secure childrens’ right:: Chumki
DHAKA, Oct 25, 2018 (BSS) – State Minister for Woman and Children Affairs Meher Afroz Chumki today said that the Children (Amendment) Bill 2018 has been passed in Jatiya Sangsad keeping provision for a children court in each district to secure childrens’ rights as well as their protection and welfare.
This law has been passed to enable children to develop themselves as a strong force for the nation.
State Minister of Ministry of Water Resources MD. Nazrul Islam Hiru, Secretary of Ministry of Woman and Children Affair Nasima Begum, Estate Council Chairman Abdul Matin Bhuiyan, Police Superintendent Saifullah AL Mamun were present at the function with Narsingdi Deputy Commissioner Sayeda Farhana Kawnine in the chair.
Nasima Begum said the Ministry of Woman and Children Affairs is working at it’s best so that every children can be groomed with healthly physical and mental attainment.
