DHAKA, Oct 20, 2018 (BSS) – Awami League Publicity and Publication Secretary Hasan Mahmud today said the leaders of Jatiya Oikyafront are politically characterless.
“Although they talk about raising a corruption-free society, they themselves formed alliance with corrupts. This proved that they are politically characterless,” he said.
The Awami League leader stated this while addressing a discussion organized by Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote marking the birthday of Sheikh Russel, the youngest son of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, at Shilpakala auditorium this morning.
Presided over by Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote founding general secretary Sarah Begum Kabari, it was addressed by Dhaka south city Awami League general secretary Shahe Alam Murad, Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote general secretary Arun Sarker Rana and Akter Hossain, among others.
“Although Dr Kamal Hossain preaches about raising graft-free society, but he took the leadership of a part, whose acting chairman is a person like Tarique Rahman. Another leader of the Oikyafront is Barrister Moinul Hossain, who recently termed a woman journalist as characterless. In reality, Dr Kamal Hossain, Mahmudur Rahman Manna and Moinul Hossain are politically characterless,” Dr Hasan Mahmud said.
“Look at yourself first, before looking on to others. In reality, you all are politically characterless,” he added.
